Senior Product Engineering Technician

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Product Engineering Technician to join its Commercial Aircraft Group in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on engineering inspections, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of hardware assemblies for aerospace products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering inspections and evaluations of hardware.
• Diagnose product and CCA build failures using electronics manufacturing knowledge and specify rework.
• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate data trends to support product quality.
• Create and maintain production assembly documentation, including worksheets and acceptance test procedures.
• Assist technicians with assembly methods, equipment use, instrumentation, and anomaly resolution.
• Monitor assembly producibility and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as technical liaison with project, product, and process engineers and support project meetings.
• Provide on‑site support to assembly operations and travel domestically or internationally as needed (10‑15%).

Required profile

• Vocational or technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or an accredited technical degree with additional experience.
• Advanced knowledge of specialized engineering methods and techniques.
