Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Kato is building an AI‑powered servicing platform that combines a regulatory rules engine with a voice AI decision system. As a Senior Product Engineer you will join as the second engineering hire, working directly with customers to deliver new products and enhancements while shaping the technical foundation of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of the real‑time voice processing system.
• Design and build scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed systems.
• Optimize large‑language‑model (LLM) integration for compliance‑aware conversations.
• Develop internal tools for monitoring and improving the voice agent.
• Build customer‑facing dashboards and reporting interfaces.
• Collaborate with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices and technical standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with experience delivering mission‑critical projects.
• Ability to work closely with customers and translate business needs into product features.
• Comfortable shaping product direction and engineering processes in a fast‑growing startup.
