Senior Product Designer

About the role

Runpod is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the next generation of its AI infrastructure platform. The role demands high‑impact design work that turns complex technical workflows into simple, powerful, and delightful experiences for millions of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design for core product areas, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Translate complex workflows across compute, deployment, storage, networking, billing, observability, and AI model operations into intuitive user experiences.
• Identify UX problems, frame trade‑offs, propose solutions and drive decisions quickly.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and leadership to ship high‑quality experiences.
• Create polished flows, prototypes, high‑fidelity designs, interaction patterns, and production‑ready specs.
• Contribute to and evolve Runpod’s design system for consistency and scalability.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product design experience, preferably with developer tools, cloud platforms, AI/ML tools, or technical SaaS.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, visual craft, interaction design, and systems thinking.
• High urgency and ownership in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills with attention to hierarchy, typography, spacing, and micro‑interactions.
• Ability to work closely with engineers and product managers to ship technically complex products.

Required skills

• Designing complex workflows involving APIs, cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, usage‑based pricing, and AI/ML systems.
• Prototyping and creating production‑ready design specifications.
• Using qualitative and quantitative insights (user research, usability testing, analytics) to guide design decisions.
