Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a motivated Procurement Specialist to support manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management at the plant level. The role involves planning the sourcing of goods and services, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with Category Management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sourcing activities for goods and services required by manufacturing, field operations, and projects.
• Issue purchase orders based on material requirements and implement local procurement agreements.
• Create Request for Quotations (RFQs) and manage competitive bidding processes.
• Assess and monitor supplier performance to drive cost containment and efficiency.
• Apply Category Management policies and procedures in daily procurement activities.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement or production environment.
• Advanced procurement certification (e.g., CPM) preferred.
• Knowledge of Purchase to Pay processes is desirable.
