Senior Process Engineer

About the role

Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join its Electronics Operations Engineering team in Buffalo, NY. The role combines hands‑on process development with cross‑functional support for new and existing aircraft production programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support all phases of the product life‑cycle, including new product development, NPI, product transfer and delivery.
• Provide process engineering support to design, production and contract‑manufacturing sites, ensuring design integrity, producibility and quality.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement equipment to meet production requirements.
• Track and improve key metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY) and product cost objectives (PCAS).
• Coordinate technical communications with program management, sales, purchasing, customers and suppliers.
• Organize material and personnel resources to resolve production problems and deliver technical training.
• Travel 10‑15 % domestically and internationally to work with contract manufacturers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in manufacturing or electronics production environments.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality and cost improvement.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate with external partners.
