Senior Process Engineer (E3)

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer (E3) will work in Santa Clara, CA, designing and executing advanced process engineering experiments that support AI‑driven chip manufacturing. The role offers the chance to collaborate with customers and internal teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on challenging process engineering experiments.
• Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and resolve process engineering issues.
• Measure film properties and interpret data.
• Generate internal documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
• Engage with customers to resolve complex issues under limited supervision.
• Select and partner with vendors and suppliers, and implement new technology and analytical instrumentation.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and lead project teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4‑7 years of relevant experience demonstrating expertise in complex problem solving.
