Senior Power Design Engineer – GPU Server Boards

About the role

As a Senior Power Design Engineer on the Compute HW team, you will lead the innovation and design of board‑level DC‑DC power conversion and input protection for GPU server boards destined for orbital deployment. You will balance performance, cost, reliability, and component availability while guiding cross‑functional teams to resolve complex power challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate board power architectures to meet space‑flight requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, documenting procedures, specifications, and results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve power‑related issues in prototypes and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with power‑supply vendors to create compliant power solutions.
• Conduct design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layout, and routing.
• Extract VRM transient response models and integrate them into end‑to‑end power‑integrity simulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in complex analog DC‑DC power conversion design.
• Hands‑on expertise with system‑level power delivery network design, analysis, and validation.
• Familiarity with power distribution strategies on PCBs and in systems.
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and frequency‑response analyzers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead projects within a diverse, cross‑functional team.
