Senior PLM Project Manager

About the role

Aras is seeking a Senior PLM Project Manager to lead customer deployments of its Innovator platform. You will work closely with internal teams and client sponsors to plan, execute, and deliver large‑scale PLM solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of PLM deployment projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, align with customer milestones, and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee project budgets, P&L, invoicing, and billing.
• Maintain regular communication with client stakeholders and negotiate project scope and changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science/IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience delivering large enterprise PLM/PDM software projects.
• Experience managing teams of three or more and handling multiple simultaneous projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Required skills

• PLM and PDM deployment expertise.
• Knowledge of engineering change processes (CMII, CMPIC).
• Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, and manufacturing process planning.
• Understanding of phase‑gate project management, quality systems, and SAFe methodologies.
