Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

Mastercard’s DevFlow team is driving a company‑wide DevOps transformation. As a Senior Platform Engineer you will design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling that enable secure, fast, and reliable software delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance deployment automation using Chef (Infra, Habitat) and Ansible.
• Build and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, integrating Sonar, Maven, Artifactory, GitHub, BitBucket and Terraform.
• Maintain and evolve automation standards across development, quality, release and product teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to support tooling such as GitHub, Sonar, Artifactory and Terraform.
• Participate in the full service lifecycle—from design and development through deployment, operation and continuous improvement.
• Scale systems sustainably while reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for automation.
• Deep experience with industry‑standard CI/CD tools and practices.
• Low tolerance for manual processes and a drive to automate wherever possible.
• Senior‑level expertise in designing efficient, high‑quality pipelines from development to production.
