Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Pennington, NJ. The role sits within the Technology Consultant 2 career track and focuses on delivering high‑quality database solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Lead design discussions, capture architectural decisions and guide the development team.
• Develop, test and integrate new PL/SQL features while preserving system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories and apply necessary changes.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse outcomes and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for new applications.
• Resolve production incidents and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities.
• Proven experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for designing robust, maintainable database solutions.
