Senior Oracle Developer

About the role

R+L Carriers' Information Technology Department is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise‑level solutions using Oracle 19c and PL/SQL. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into high‑performance database code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 19c.
• Perform performance tuning, including SQL optimization, indexing, statistics gathering, and execution‑plan management.
• Maintain shared tooling for partitioning, purging, and monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control).
• Implement SQL profiles and plan baselines to resolve critical production issues.
• Mentor and support other Oracle developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle 19c.
• Proven track record in Oracle performance tuning and supporting high‑volume transactional databases.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
