Senior .NET/Azure Developer (Power Apps, Data Migration)

About the role

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) in Hartford, CT is looking for a Senior Developer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications and Power Apps while supporting critical data‑migration initiatives. You will work within an Agile Scrum team, collaborating with product owners, testers, and data specialists to deliver high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements; translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
• Design, develop, and refactor components using ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and Azure App Service.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps builds, and Azure Git repository management.
• Work with Azure SQL databases – schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning.
• Collaborate on SSIS‑based ETL processes and support data‑migration activities.
• Create and maintain automated data‑validation scripts to verify migration accuracy across environments.
• Participate in code reviews, system testing, integration testing, and user‑acceptance testing, logging defects in Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Senior‑level developer with solid experience in .NET development and Azure cloud services.
• Proven ability to work in a self‑managed Scrum team and deliver incremental releases.
• Strong analytical skills for requirements gathering, data mapping, and migration validation.
