Senior Module Process Engineer (E5)

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a recognized expert in Epitaxy process and equipment to lead complex technical challenges in wafer fab environments. The role focuses on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and delivering high‑value solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis of EPI process, yield, and integration issues using data analytics and first‑principles problem solving.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects with customers, capturing learnings to maximize service opportunities and improve key performance indicators.
• Identify and execute opportunities for CSA renewal, upsell, and penetration while demonstrating new service technologies on‑site.
• Mentor junior Module Process Engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple processes and technologies.
• Prepare and present detailed diagnostic reports, prioritizing actions based on BOM, EC, FSS, and FV360 data.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Engineering with 10+ years of Epitaxy process or equipment experience in a wafer fab environment.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical ideas and influence senior stakeholders.
• Recognized as a technical expert in EPI unit process and wafer fab operations.
