Senior Medical Science Liaison – Immunology (Dermatology)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the Georgia territory to serve as the field‑based scientific and clinical expert for its immunology and dermatology portfolio. The role involves strategic scientific engagement with key opinion leaders and health‑care providers to advance medical knowledge and support the company’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and approved assets.
• Engage in two‑way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs, identifying trends, unmet needs, and educational gaps.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs across the territory.
• Utilize AI tools and MSL insights to uncover gaps, risks, and opportunities, enhancing medical impact.
• Provide balanced, evidence‑based scientific information and support investigator‑initiated studies.
• Collect and submit high‑quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy and asset planning.
• Collaborate compliantly with internal stakeholders including R&D, Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, and sales/marketing teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of scientific and treatment landscape trends in immunology and dermatology.

Required profile

• Doctorate‑level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) with post‑graduate experience, preferably therapeutic clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Medical Science Liaison or related scientific engagement experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly and ethically.
• Strong scientific acumen, self‑directed learning, and participation in journal clubs, seminars, and congresses.
