Senior Mechanical Construction Project Manager – Data Center

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark hyperscale data centre in Atlanta. The role oversees all mechanical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence for mission‑critical HVAC, plumbing and piping systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction operations for a large‑scale data centre project.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including project managers, engineers, superintendents and field staff.
• Oversee financial performance, scheduling, procurement, forecasting and risk management.
• Maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams and trade partners.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity initiatives throughout all construction phases.
• Ensure successful installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, piping and other mission‑critical mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with executive leadership to align project outcomes with organizational goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale, mission‑critical or data‑center projects.
• Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, piping and mechanical systems installation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage significant budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client‑facing skills.
• Experience with hyperscale data centre construction is strongly preferred.
