Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Ceramic Processes

About the role

Robert Bosch LLC is looking for senior manufacturing engineers to join its Anderson, SC facility. The role focuses on overseeing and optimizing ceramic slurry and kiln solidification processes used in the production of oxygen sensor coatings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve the ceramic slurry manufacturing workflow and kiln solidification operations.
• Lead equipment procurement, validation, and release testing activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform statistical analysis and apply DOE/SPC techniques to drive process optimization.
• Support international and domestic travel for project coordination (≈10%).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermo‑shock protection manufacturing or similar process‑improvement roles.
• Experience with quality management systems such as TS, ISO, or IA TF.
