Senior Manager, Supply Chain Data Science & AI Operationalization

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior leader to drive AI operationalization across its Global Service Operations supply‑chain analytics. You will turn manual, one‑off analyses into governed, automated workflows that scale without adding headcount, while leading a small team of analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Embed AI, generative AI and LLM‑based methods into supply‑chain analytics, creating always‑on, automated workflows.
• Own delivery against the Global Service Operations roadmap and SLA commitments.
• Build and ship repeatable AI‑assisted tools, moving prototypes to governed production with data lineage, monitoring and clear ownership.
• Establish AI operationalization practices (prompt/model evaluation, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, versioning, monitoring, governance).
• Lead a team of analysts, manage project delivery, and track impact on cycle‑time, quality and dollars influenced.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering AI and analytics in a supply‑chain context with measurable business results.
• Proven ability to take analytics from notebooks to governed production with clear ownership.
• People leadership experience, mentoring analysts and managing delivery against demand.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain economics (procurement, inventory, reverse logistics, order fulfillment).
