Senior Manager, Strategy

About the role

RELX is seeking a senior strategy leader to join its Corporate Strategy team. You will work directly with senior executives across multiple business units, turning ambiguous challenges into data‑driven recommendations that shape long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic priorities, business needs and pain points across RELX’s portfolio.
• Lead end‑to‑end strategy projects, from problem definition to executive‑level recommendations and stakeholder alignment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, evaluating trade‑offs and challenging assumptions.
• Provide blue‑sky thinking on emerging technologies, AI and market trends.
• Develop Board, investor and annual planning presentations to communicate strategy.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring high‑quality output.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years in top‑tier strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to senior audiences.
• Experience leading and developing junior staff.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, self‑motivation and collaborative style.
