About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Senior Manager, Strategy to lead high‑impact, cross‑functional projects that translate the organization’s mission into actionable priorities. This senior position works within the Strategy & Delivery Unit, partnering with the Executive Board and senior leaders to shape organizational transformation and ensure effective delivery of critical initiatives worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large, complex projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring timely, high‑quality outcomes.
• Generate evidence‑based, user‑centric insights and solutions through analysis and extensive stakeholder consultation.
• Apply structured problem‑solving approaches to ambiguous challenges and facilitate solution‑focused workshops.
• Validate findings with senior stakeholders, leading decision‑making and consensus‑building sessions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, advising senior decision‑makers as needed.
• Lead project teams, assign responsibilities, review deliverables for quality, and sharpen strategic thinking.
