Senior Manager, Quality Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to own quality across our platform and customer‑facing delivery as we expand into banks globally. You will lead a distributed QA team and establish standards, strategy, and governance to ensure credible quality for regulated financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end QA strategy across the platform and customer‑facing delivery, spanning a globally distributed team of QA engineers.
• Establish and maintain quality governance appropriate for regulated financial institutions, including test strategy standards, coverage metrics, release criteria, and audit‑ready evidence.
• Own incident response for quality‑related issues, handling triage, root‑cause analysis, prevention, and post‑incident communication.
• Partner with engineers to strengthen test automation, CI/release gating, and regression coverage for a real‑time, high‑throughput platform.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Post‑Sales teams to support UAT, structured acceptance testing, and integration validation for bank and enterprise deployments.
• Shape engineering culture by ensuring high‑quality standards are upheld across the organization.

Required profile

• 8+ years in software quality, with at least 2 years managing QA or Quality Engineering teams.
• Experience owning quality for a regulated domain such as banking, payments, or fintech, familiar with audit, UAT, and documented test governance.
• Strong quality‑engineering mindset covering test automation, CI/CD gating, coverage measurement, and balanced manual and exploratory testing.
• Hands‑on experience building test automation using Cypress or similar tools.
• Track record of building high‑performing, distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Metrics‑driven approach, comfortable defining and reporting on quality KPIs.
