Senior Manager, Leader Development

About the role

The Senior Manager, Leader Development leads the strategy, design, administration, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive leadership development curriculum for Regional Sales Directors and Area Vice Presidents. This fully remote position supports the commercialization of Shockwave Medical's intravascular lithotripsy technology.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, and maintenance of role‑based leadership learning paths aligned with business priorities.
• Conduct needs assessments, develop blended learning experiences, and create content on coaching, business acumen, change leadership, and cross‑functional influence.
• Partner with sales leadership and HR to define competencies, onboarding, succession planning, and success metrics.
• Facilitate leadership programs, manage external vendors, and oversee program logistics, communications, and tracking.
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and governance structures to measure participation, behavior change, and business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, education, HR or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in leadership development, learning & development, sales training, or commercial excellence.
• Experience designing and evaluating leadership curricula for senior sales leaders, preferably in medical devices or regulated environments.
• Strong program and project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and budgets.
