Senior Manager, Global Strategic Pricing & Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Global Strategic Pricing & Planning. Based in Fort Worth, TX, you will drive pricing governance across Surgical and Vision Care, ensuring disciplined, compliant, and value‑driven pricing decisions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic product launch pricing reviews, providing stage‑gate inputs in partnership with Commercial teams.
• Adapt pricing and commercial approaches for existing products to optimize revenue across target segments.
• Manage the end‑to‑end Price Governance process, meeting service level agreements and handling pricing requests promptly.
• Monitor governance performance, continuously improving workflows, documentation, and decision quality.
• Conduct strategic deal pricing reviews, analyzing financial impact and aligning recommendations with global guidance.
• Support price monitoring through dashboards, reporting, and performance insights.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to advance pricing initiatives that strengthen competitiveness and profitability.
• Apply pricing technologies and optimization tools to enhance pricing effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 15 years, associate + 11 years, M.S.).
• Significant experience in strategic pricing, finance, or related fields.
• Strong strategic judgment and deep understanding of pricing methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence decision‑making in a global, matrixed organization.
• Leadership experience driving pricing initiatives and representing pricing strategy across functions.
