Senior Manager, Email & SMS

About the role

The Senior Manager, Email & SMS leads the end‑to‑end execution, programming and optimization of Tanger’s email and SMS communications. This role works both independently and collaboratively within a flexible, remote‑first environment, partnering with Marketing, Loyalty, Technology and Analytics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the programming, configuration and delivery of email and SMS campaigns, automations and lifecycle journeys.
• Develop and maintain dynamic content, audience segmentation and conditional logic within the ESP and SMS platforms.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integration, compliance, deliverability and platform health.
• Monitor performance, conduct A/B and multivariate testing, and produce regular reporting with actionable insights.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in email and/or SMS marketing or digital channel management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑level ESPs and SMS platforms (e.g., Campaigner, Salesforce, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Cordial, Vibes).
• Working knowledge of HTML for email template creation.
• Expertise in audience segmentation, automation workflows and performance testing.
