Senior Manager, Customs & International Trade Tax

About the role

PWC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Customs & International Trade Tax practice. You will advise large organisations on indirect tax matters such as VAT, GST, sales tax and customs duties, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments and optimise their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage large‑scale customs and trade tax projects for multinational clients.
• Develop and implement innovative processes and automation solutions to improve service delivery.
• Provide strategic advice on duty, trade strategy, regulatory planning and dispute resolution.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations.
• Coach and develop diverse, high‑performing teams, fostering an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customs, indirect tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) and international trade compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing complex projects.
• Ability to think systemically, solve ambiguous problems and make sound judgments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear, impactful messages.
