Senior Manager, Accounting

About the role

The Senior Manager, Accounting will lead critical financial reporting functions for a global consumer‑packaged‑goods company. Based at the headquarters in Boca Raton, FL, this role bridges the general ledger, SEC reporting, and technical accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely disclosures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and other required reports.
• Oversee consolidation processes and bill‑back calculations.
• Act as liaison between SEC, technical accounting, and GL accounting functions.
• Coordinate with tax, international, legal, and audit teams on reporting matters.
• Drive ad‑hoc projects and implement process or system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 6+ years of audit and/or external financial reporting experience, preferably in a Big 4 public‑accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Workiva (a plus).
