Senior Maintenance Technician – The Chadwick

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of The Chadwick property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting preventative maintenance across a 687‑unit multifamily community.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible rather than replacing them.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing with 500+ units.
• Availability to work weekends as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established policies and safety procedures.
