Senior Maintenance Technician (Floating)

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician (Floating) supports Greystar’s portfolio of residential properties in the San Antonio area. This full‑time position ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and make repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists and scheduling necessary maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and ensure all tasks are finished to Greystar’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and property maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform effective repairs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, code compliance and preventative maintenance best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, inspections and punch‑list activities.
