Senior Litigation Associate – Complex Casualty

About the role

Marshall Dennehey, a leading civil defense firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join its Orlando office. The role focuses on complex, high‑exposure casualty matters for Fortune 500 clients, offering a collaborative environment with significant autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, under partner guidance.
• Evaluate liability and damages, prepare detailed client reports.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions.
• Oversee all aspects of high‑exposure cases, including premises liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defects, public entity, civil rights, and commercial auto/trucking litigation.
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate closely with partners.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in complex casualty matters.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to handle multi‑claimant, catastrophic loss cases.
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Commitment to long‑term career growth within a supportive firm.
