Senior Litigation Associate – Complex Casualty

About the role

Marshall Dennehey is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5‑10 years of civil litigation experience to join its Fort Lauderdale office. The role focuses on complex, high‑exposure casualty matters for Fortune 500 clients in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with autonomy.
• Evaluate liability and damages and prepare detailed client reports.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions.
• Oversee all aspects of high‑exposure cases, including premises, retail, negligent security, products, rideshare, construction defect, public entity, civil rights, and commercial auto litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in complex casualty matters.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and case‑management skills.
• Experience handling catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, and fatalities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
