Senior Litigation Associate – Complex Casualty (5-9 yrs)

About the role

Marshall Dennehey, a leading civil defense firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. The role focuses on complex casualty matters for Fortune 500 clients, offering high exposure and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate liability and damages, prepare detailed client reports, and conduct depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions.
• Oversee all aspects of high‑exposure cases, including premises liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defects, public entity claims, and commercial auto/trucking litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑9+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in complex casualty matters.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and case‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
