Senior iOS Engineer (Remote)

About the role

MyTime is a fully integrated scheduling, payments and automated marketing platform used by large multi-location chains and franchises, covering in-store scheduling, online booking, client records, email and SMS marketing and a point of sale. It is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of its 100% native iOS app (Swift and Objective-C), working with the CTO, Product Managers and the QA team. The role is remote, provided you are willing to work in the Americas time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Build, launch and support features within the app
• Master development patterns and collaborative processes
• Refactor existing code to be more testable, write internal documentation and test features and systems
• Develop relationships with contributors to the product and technology development
• Within 6 months: contribute to multiple products, understand major feature areas of the mobile apps and take part in the architecture of new user-facing features
• Within 12 months: deliver within reliable estimates, act as a knowledge leader and take part in hiring interviews

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience developing native iOS apps
• Experience building applications with Objective-C and/or Swift
• Experience with various iOS libraries and tooling
• Values beautiful, pixel-perfect UI and makes decisions based on data and evidence
• Enjoys iterative, agile development with frequent releases and high-quality, maintainable code
