Senior Injection Mold Maker

About the role

The Senior Injection Mold Maker is responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of injection molding tooling. This position works closely with the molding department to ensure high‑quality molds are produced and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area while handling tool steels and production materials.
• Fabricate, alter, and repair molds using blueprints or CAD models.
• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and assist with ordering supplies.
• Inspect finished parts against quality specifications and assist with customer communication.
• Support design for manufacturability and ensure on‑time delivery of tooling.

Required profile

• Complete OTTO apprenticeship or 5–10 years of mold making/repair experience.
• Proficient with CAD and capable of operating CNC and EDM machines.
• Skilled in using surface grinders, mills, and reading blueprints.
• Strong inspection abilities and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and availability for overtime when needed.
