Senior Incident Response Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Incident Response Engineer to join our global information security organization. In this senior technical position you will lead the incident response team, provide deep insight into emerging threats, and drive the development of mitigation strategies across both on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and continuously improve security incident response plans.
• Conduct full‑life‑cycle forensic investigations on physical endpoints and cloud platforms.
• Produce comprehensive incident reports and intelligence summaries for senior leadership.
• Analyze security events, tune detection controls, and develop mitigation scripts.
• Identify gaps in existing tools and processes, recommending technical solutions to enhance overall security posture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to remediate threats and protect critical assets.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of cloud‑agnostic infrastructure security.
• Proven experience conducting forensic and incident response investigations.
• Strong understanding of incident response workflows, risk mitigation, and security event analysis.
• Ability to develop and implement security improvement and remediation programs.
• Relevant certifications such as CCFE, GCFE, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or ethical‑hacking credentials are a plus.
