Senior Human Resources Business Partner – Blacksburg

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join its Space and Defense Group in Blacksburg, VA. You will work closely with business leaders and the Strategic HR Business Partner to shape HR strategy that drives performance and supports the company’s mission-critical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with leadership to provide strategic HR guidance aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with the Strategic HRBP to manage the people agenda, implement HR initiatives, and ensure consistent delivery across multiple sites.
• Contribute to business strategy development, bringing an HR perspective to organizational decisions.
• Design and execute HR programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.
• Navigate complex, matrixed environments and advise leaders on both business and people‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven experience supporting multiple sites or business units.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
