Senior High Risk Analyst - BSA/AML Private Banking

About the role

The Senior High Risk Analyst will lead annual and ongoing reviews of high‑risk Private Banking clients, ensuring compliance with BSA/AML policies and regulatory requirements. Working closely with Relationship Managers and Compliance teams, the analyst will evaluate client activity, ownership structures, and documentation to identify potential risks and support mitigation efforts for a Latin America‑focused client base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct annual reviews of high‑risk Private Banking clients in line with BSA/AML policies.
• Analyze customer profiles, transaction patterns, ownership structures and supporting documentation to assess risk.
• Investigate variances or unusual behavior to confirm consistency with expected client profiles.
• Research across multiple systems to validate client information before requesting documentation.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders to gather and review required documents.
• Document findings, recommendations and review outcomes clearly and concisely.
• Support special projects involving client data analysis, risk reviews and compliance initiatives.
• Manage a high‑volume workload while meeting strict deadlines.
• Stay current on BSA/AML regulations, industry trends and emerging financial‑crime risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Compliance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with Relationship Managers and compliance teams.
