Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst

About the role

RightMove is seeking a senior individual contributor to lead analytics that quantify the impact of its musculoskeletal care model on outcomes, utilization, experience, and total cost of care.

Key responsibilities

• Own internal and customer‑facing analyses measuring outcomes, utilization, experience, and total cost of care.
• Evaluate financial and clinical impact of care interventions and technology investments, building comparison groups and risk‑adjusted methodologies.
• Translate complex claims and provider network data into actionable recommendations for savings, quality, and patient navigation.
• Partner with Data Engineering to create scalable datasets, dashboards, and reusable measurement standards.
• Communicate findings through executive‑ready reports, slide decks, and white papers, and present directly to employer and health‑plan stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of analytics experience in a value‑based care setting (payer, ACO, risk‑bearing provider, or health‑tech).
• Deep working knowledge of medical claims data, risk adjustment, and common confounders.
• Proficiency querying large claims datasets using SQL in cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Python or R for analysis.
• Master’s degree in health economics, public health, biostatistics, or related field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, able to translate analytic findings for non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tooling such as Claude Code and Snowflake Cortex.
