About the role
The Senior Graduate Assistant supports the teaching, research, extension, and service missions of the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences while pursuing a graduate degree.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with research, teaching, laboratory, greenhouse, or field activities.
- Collect and analyze data, maintain research records and equipment.
- Support Extension and outreach programs and participate in departmental events and seminars.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and effective communication with the faculty advisor.
Required profile
- Earned master’s degree and admission to the University of Arkansas Graduate School.
- Maintain enrollment, academic standing, and satisfactory degree progress for continued assistantship eligibility.
- Regular, reliable attendance and professional working relationships.
