Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its investment accounting team in Charleston. The role will oversee cash management, capital transactions, and financial reporting for multiple funds, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day cash transactions, bank accounts, and intercompany bill‑backs.
• Process wire/ACH transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare contribution and distribution calculations, coordinate investor signatures, and upload documentation to Intralinks.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP.
• Support senior accountants with ad‑hoc investor, lender, and compliance reporting.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and ensure accurate use of Yardi for transaction entry.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Yardi accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
• Experience in cash management and bank reconciliation.
• Ability to handle capital transaction allocation and documentation.
• Solid financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
