Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join a contractor program supporting a critical customer engagement. The role involves owning features end‑to‑end across a React frontend, a Java Spring Boot service layer, and a PostgreSQL data model, deployed on Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement application features spanning React, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
• Build React components from Figma mockups and integrate with backend APIs.
• Develop and maintain supporting Node.js services and their integration with the Java backend.
• Write unit tests and maintain test coverage using JUnit, Mockito, and related tools.
• Deploy and configure application components on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java and Node.js components.
• Participate in working sessions with the engagement team and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production web applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with backend development in Java using Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Proficiency in frontend development with React, state management, and translating Figma designs.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and a common framework (Express, Fastify, or NestJS).
• Strong relational data modeling skills in PostgreSQL, including SQL queries and schema migrations.
