Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/Next.js & Go)

About the role

Avantos AI is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer who leads with a strong frontend focus using React and Next.js, while also contributing to backend services built in Golang. You will shape the technical foundation of a greenfield AI platform for financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture and design, owning React/Next.js interfaces end‑to‑end with emphasis on performance, UX, and scalability.
• Integrate seamlessly with backend services and contribute to Golang APIs when needed.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams on experience decisions.
• Influence overall architecture, reliability, performance strategy, and engineering standards.
• Write high‑quality, clean code and enforce standards through code reviews.
• Mentor teammates, unblock blockers, and raise the technical bar across the organization.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience building production web applications.
• Expert‑level mastery of React and Next.js, including streaming, modern rendering patterns, and state strategy.
• Proven ability to design high‑performance, scalable frontend systems.
• Solid backend competency, preferably Golang, with strong API design fluency.
• Deep understanding of performance, caching, hydration, code‑splitting, bundling, and deployment trade‑offs.
• Product and architecture instincts – you care about what should be built, not just how.
