Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React/Node)

About the role

Publix is seeking a senior frontend engineer to build and enhance user‑facing features on Publix.com. You will work in an agile team, collaborating both on‑site and remotely, to deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web solutions using JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, C#, Node.js, Next.js, and Sitecore CMS.
• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Engage in architecture and design discussions with cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure unit‑tested, high‑quality code.
• Lead engineering initiatives when required and document system changes.
• Provide after‑hours support for production systems as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing customer‑facing e‑commerce websites and APIs.
• 3+ years using frontend JavaScript frameworks; 2+ years with React.js.
• 2+ years developing with Node.js and experience with Agile/Scrum processes.
