Senior Frontend Engineer – React & TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend‑focused software engineer to own the design and delivery of user‑facing experiences at the heart of Sardine’s AI‑driven risk platform. You will build polished, performant interfaces in React and TypeScript while collaborating with backend services written in Go.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and own production‑grade features in React and TypeScript, ensuring accessibility and performance.
• Set technical direction and quality standards for the frontend team, mentoring engineers through code reviews.
• Leverage AI and agentic development tools such as Claude to accelerate delivery and establish best practices.
• Extend backend services and APIs in Go when needed to support new features.
• Partner with business stakeholders to architect and implement new user experiences from concept to launch.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in frontend development.
• Proven leadership in setting technical standards, mentoring, and making key architectural decisions.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong empathy for users and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Experience in fintech, fraud, compliance or regulated systems is a plus.
