Senior Frontend Engineer – Mobile (React Native)

About the role

Sleeper is looking for a senior‑level Frontend Engineer to own and evolve its mobile experience. You will work on a high‑traffic React Native application, delivering new features, improving performance, and ensuring a reliable experience for millions of sports fans.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into clean React Native components.
• Write maintainable TypeScript code using libraries such as React Query, React Navigation, and Reanimated.
• Develop reusable UI components and establish a well‑structured component hierarchy.
• Integrate front‑end modules with back‑end services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, socket, and data‑caching issues.
• Stay current with mobile development best practices and accessibility standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional mobile or web frontend development.
• Proven ability to design and ship large‑scale products with autonomy.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive process building.
• Comfortable thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
