Senior Founding Engineer – $220K‑$280K + Equity

About the role

Join one of the earliest engineering teams building critical infrastructure for frontier AI. You will work directly with the founders to design and scale backend, distributed, and AI‑adjacent systems that power data generation and evaluation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale backend infrastructure, cloud compute, workers, and internal platforms.
• Build and iterate on agentic systems, model harnesses, and evaluation frameworks used in production.
• Design tooling and workflows that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and system reliability at scale.
• Collaborate with founders on technical strategy, architecture decisions, and execution priorities.
• Raise the technical bar of a small, ambitious engineering team through strong judgment and engineering maturity.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or ML infrastructure.
• Background in early‑stage startups (Seed to Series A) with significant ownership and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
• Hands‑on experience building, evaluating, or iterating on LLM agents, agentic systems, or AI‑adjacent infrastructure.
