Senior Fixed Wing Aviation Military Analyst

About the role

The Senior Fixed Wing Aviation Military Analyst provides expert analysis and strategic support for Army fixed‑wing aviation operations, capability development, requirements generation, and modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead working groups and develop requirements documentation for Army and Joint aviation programs.
• Produce high‑quality white papers, concept papers, operational views, and other analytical products supporting capability‑based assessments.
• Support studies, operational assessments, technology evaluations, and Joint capability development efforts.

Required profile

• Rated Army Aviator with at least 15 years of flight and combat experience.
• Dual‑qualified Military Intelligence and Aviation Branch officer or warrant officer.
• Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge and completion of professional education comparable to CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

Required skills

• Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) or Instructor Pilot (IP) experience.
• Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) or Examiner experience.
• Experience planning, facilitating, and executing Joint Working Groups.
• Ability to independently produce graduate‑level analytical deliverables with minimal revisions.
