Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Chipotle is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership for an assigned region. The role supports regional strategy, budgeting, performance measurement, and training while collaborating closely with regional leadership and corporate finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the financial impact of regional strategies and contribute to long‑term strategic plans.
• Prepare, present, and interpret regional financial plans, forecasts, and results.
• Identify gaps between forecasts and targets and recommend actions to meet annual goals.
• Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and finance partners to develop reports, analyses, and tools.
• Spot profit and cost opportunities and advise regional management on prioritization.
• Serve as primary liaison between the region and the Columbus Accounting Center to resolve accounting issues.
• Develop and deliver financial reporting and insights for all management levels.
• Train regional managers and support teams on financial policies and procedures.

Required profile

• B.A. or B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA or CPA preferred.
• At least five years of experience in financial management, planning & analysis, or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of restaurant operations and their financial implications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
