Senior Event Manager

About the role

Bowen & Co. Events is looking for a Senior Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of high‑profile culinary and nonprofit events. You will act as the primary client liaison and oversee a small team while collaborating on larger, company‑wide projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for select accounts, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead project planning, prioritization, and forecasting to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Produce on‑site event elements such as registration, seating, auctions, speaking programs, and talent coordination.
• Manage external vendors including graphic design, floral, photography, AV, and technical production.
• Develop event collateral (invitations, programs, signage, websites) in partnership with designers.
• Create and monitor project schedules, show flows, and production timelines.
• Prepare and control budgets, review contracts, track expenses, and process client invoicing.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in event production or related fields.
• Strong project‑management abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated, personable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in culinary events and/or nonprofit fundraising is a plus.
