Senior Estimator-Electrical Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our pre‑construction team in the Southeast, working on electrical construction projects valued between $5M and $50M. The role involves developing accurate, competitive bids and supporting project acquisition across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data‑center sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates using Accubid.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Develop takeoffs, pricing, and complete bid packages for projects ranging from $5M–$50M.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership during pre‑construction.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify risks, cost‑saving opportunities, and value‑engineering options.
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations as needed.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably senior‑level.
• Proven experience estimating commercial or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience bidding projects in the $5M–$50M range.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with at least one of the following project types: commercial construction, industrial facilities, healthcare projects, data centers.

Required skills

• Accubid or similar electrical estimating software.
