Senior ERM Specialist

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Specialist to lead and support the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of its ERM function. This role will work closely with senior management and system-wide teams to ensure robust risk assessment, monitoring, and business continuity across the Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk management activities, aligning with the Federal Reserve System ERM and business continuity frameworks.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, mitigate, monitor, and report enterprise-wide risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ERM policies, standards, and procedures.
• Partner with business units to embed risk appetite, tolerances, and measures.
• Apply data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance risk practices.
• Support the Risk Management Council and prepare risk reporting materials for senior leadership.
• Supervise less‑experienced analysts, assigning and reviewing work as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise risk management, preferably within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance and business continuity planning.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional project teams.
