About the role

As the Senior Engineering Manager for Semgrep’s Software Supply Chain Security team, you will lead a group building customer‑facing tools that help developers secure their applications against vulnerable dependencies. The focus is on cutting through noisy alerts to surface the 20 % of reachable vulnerabilities that truly matter, enabling developers to stay fast and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product and design to define a roadmap that balances iterative improvements with bold, strategic bets.
• Prioritize and direct the team’s schedule, ensuring delivery of new technology while maintaining internal technical quality.
• Coach, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for engineers, fostering a culture of trust, creativity, and accountability.
• Recruit and grow a diverse, high‑performing engineering team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering products to production through multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Familiarity with agile development and iterative milestone creation.
• Passion for coaching engineers and helping leaders grow.
